I see an image. And if I could draw well it would be a Bible with a sash around it labeled “Handle with Care.”
It would remind me not to be frivolous, petty, dismissive, careless, negligent, disrespectful or nonchalant about His Word.
I thank you, Great One, for being a Promise Keeper. (1 Kings 8:56) You are faithful to your Word when I trust You and do Your will.
So forgive me, Dear One, for I am mishandling some parts of my testing. I actually called a spiritual leader an idiot. I didn’t say it to their face (however, I’m so riled that I’m afraid I might), but I said it about the person and this is not Your will. We are to honor our spiritual leaders. I ask you for forgiveness. I ask for peace to dominate me in this situation. I ask for trust to become my pilot as I give this to You. I ask for wisdom, Your wisdom, to become this leader’s strength.
Give me, Great Father, what I need to:
Submit myself to you (James 4:7)
Present my body as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2)
Walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11-12)
Trust you (Psalm 84:11-12)
Deny myself (my desires, my actions, my choices, especially the way I want to respond to things) (Luke 9:23)
Be transformed, but not conformed (Romans 12:1-2)
Let my transformation be a message to others (Romans 12:1-2)
Love not the world and the things it dangles but love the Father who first loved me (1 John 2:15-16)
You are the lord of my life.
May your Spirit reshape my mind from within.
I submit myself to you.
Amen and amen again.
